It is fair to say that winter in Beijing comes in summer. in a sense that the sky rains frequently and heavily without prior warning from may to august each year. However, people still enjoys the summers and dance in public spaces.
This evening I was walking by the river, then suddenly a storms hit the city. I found myself hiding under a bridge watching elderly people dancing and doing their routinely exercises on the one hand, and enjoying the sounds of rain and the river on the other. It was a moment worth recording.
